WASHINGTON, D.C.—ICMA, the International City/County Management Association, welcomes Bang the Table, a global digital public engagement company whose mission is to improve the quality of public debate and the level of community involvement in public life, to the ICMA Strategic Partners Program at the general partner level.

Bang the Table has worked with more than 500 organizations to help them engage their communities online. The company developed EngagementHQ—a sophisticated online software platform and public engagement toolbox with eight feedback tools, a relationship management system, and tailored analytical reporting in a single integrated package—to drive tangible outcomes from community outreach.

“We at ICMA look forward to working with our new partner, Bang the Table.” said ICMA Executive Director Marc A. Ott. “This innovative organization is on the cutting-edge of resident engagement, and their efforts to help communities improve the level of resident involvement is essential to moving programs and projects toward success and sustainability.”

“Bang the Table works closely with more than 130 local governments around the world to help them adopt and promote best practices in online engagement,” said Bang the Table CEO Matthew Crozier. “This makes ICMA a great fit for us. We look forward to sharing our experience with ICMA members and their staffs and introducing them to the techniques and software that make online community engagement deliver real results and help build engaged and satisfied communities”.

ICMA created its Strategic Partners Program in 1996 as an access point for private sector participation in association programs and activities. ICMA Strategic Partners help professional local government managers and their staffs by showcasing leading practice solutions and providing thought leadership.

About Bang the Table
Bang the Table, a registered B-Corp, is a global digital public engagement company with a mission to improve the level of community involvement in public life. No matter how well-designed the off-line consultation processes, it inevitably reaches only a small segment of a community or stakeholder group.
