ICMA is upgrading its association management software and fulfillment operation to improve customer service. We have launched phase 1 of the initiative, which requires all members and customers to update their passwords. Everyone in the database received an e-mail on February 26 asking them to do so. Once you have logged into the system you can:

  • Update your Who’s Who/Knowledge Network profile
  • Change your e-mail preferences
  • Place ads in the Job Center and receive a receipt
  • Sign up for demos or enroll in ICMA Insights
  • Apply or register for ICMA professional and leadership development programs with the exception of credentialing applications and renewals, which will be back online soon
  • Sign up for webinars and other online training

These functions will not be available online but will continue to be managed by our Member and Customer Services (MCS) Team:

  • Apply for membership
  • Renew membership
  • Purchase printed books and subscriptions
  • Contribute to the Fund for Professional Management and Life, Well Run
  • Purchase some on-line publications from the bookstore (PDFs are now available and other formats are forthcoming).

In case you have not changed your password, here is the process:

To reset your password and enter your preference updates, click here or paste this link into your browser: https://members.icma.org/eweb/DynamicPage.aspx?WebCode=forgotpassword&site=icmares. You will be taken to the "Reset Your Password" screen.

You will automatically receive an e-mail containing a link that you will follow to reset your password.

Once you've reset your password and logged into your account, you'll have access to your profile where you can change your communications preferences which were also reset.

Contact Member and Customer Support at 800-745-8780 or 202-962-3680; by e-mail at customerservices@icma.org; membership@icma.org; or by fax at 202-962-3500 if you have questions or need help completing a transaction.

Thanks for your ongoing patience.
