The National Academy of Public Administration inducted 42 leaders in the field of public administration into the 2024 Class of Academy Fellows.
“The 2024 Class of Academy Fellows reflects a wide range of professional experience, including dedicated civil servants and accomplished academics,” said Terry Gerton, president and CEO of the Academy. “These 42 leaders will be an enormous asset to the Academy in the years ahead, and we look forward to working with all of them to help create a bright future for our country.”
Selection of the Academy’s new Fellows follows a rigorous review of the individual’s contributions to the field of public administration and policy. A Fellows Nominating Committee makes recommendations to the full fellowship, which then votes on those individuals nominated.
The 2024 class joins nearly 1,000 current Academy Fellows—including former cabinet officers, members of Congress, governors, mayors, and state legislators, as well as prominent scholars, executives, nonprofit leaders, and more.
