On September 26, 2014, a public lecture on integrated waste management was held at Iakob Gogebashvili Telavi State University, Telavi, Kakheti region.

To publicize the event, 15 students from the summer camp held in August organized a contest centered on waste management issues. About 20 people participated and winners were awarded with program T-shirts, hats, and reusable bags.

Preceding the lecture, three recycling bins for the collection of paper, plastic, and organic waste were installed at Telavi State University. Robert Bodo, WMTR Chief of Party, welcomed the audience and thanked them for their interest and participation.
