Your first year alone includes a three-day leadership seminar in Washington, D.C. where ICMA executive Bob O’Neill (Public Sector Challenges), Felicia Logan (Leadership), and Martha Perego (Ethics) will discuss the decade of local government and the challenges and opportunities it faces. You will also participate in the April 2016 ICMA SEI Leadership Institute for seven days in Charlottesville, VA!

Year two includes the Capstone project orientation with Bob and Felicia in Phoenix, AZ where the class selects technical assistance projects to complete in teams onsite in innovative localities. In the past, Edmonton, CN; Palo Alto, CA; Ft. Lauderdale, FL; Park City, UT; Decatur, GA; Milton, GA; Tacoma, WA; Issaquah, WA; Charlotte, NC; and Navajo County among others have sponsored Capstone teams.
