Incoming ICMA Executive Board members meet at ICMA headquarters for an orientation.

On July 24-25, 2014, the six vice presidents-elect, incoming President Jim Bennett, and incoming President-elect Pat Martel came to the ICMA offices for an orientation. 

The orientation began with an all-staff breakfast where the incoming board members introduced themselves.  The orientation also included an overview of ICMA finances and key issues, a review of board responsibilities, and an opportunity to share interests and priorities. 

The vice presidents-elect, the incoming president, and the president-elect will be inducted at the Wednesday morning general session at ICMA's 100th Annual Conference in Charlotte/Mecklenburg County in September.

ICMA will begin accepting candidate statements of interest for the 2015-2016 election in September 2014.
