A new tool for criminal justice has come to Camden County, Georgia. They now have the ability to get a search warrant anytime, day or night, through an online warrant system. The new program allows for communication between officers and judges as long as an internet connection is present. Since its implementation in July 2014, they have issued 2,820 electronic warrants. This saves considerable time and allows the inmate to make bond arrangements, which can save money by limiting the amount of time an inmate is housed in a jail.
