ICMA is working with New York University on a project focused on innovative approaches to funding local economic development. Funded by the U.S. Economic Development Administration, the project seeks to highlight examples of communities that leverage funding from multiple federal programs to advance a local or regional economic development strategy. More information on the project is available in NYU’s October 2016 news release

How can you help? If your community (or another community that you are familiar with) has used funding from more than one federal program to support its economic development goals, we would like to consider inclusion of the case(s) in our final product. Contact Jelani Newton (jnewton@icma.org) with potential cases or for additional information on this research effort.
