Nearly 180 members and guests of ELGL (Emerging Local Government Leaders) met at the McMenamin's Kennedy School in Portland on Friday, Oct. 17, as part of their second annual conference.  ICMA co-sponsored the event and distributed informational materials to enthusiastic attendees from a least a half-dozen states.  ELGL, now in only its fifth year, has attracted over 600 members in 25 states.  For more information, find ELGL on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, Google+, and at elgl.org.   This is one well-connected organization of early and mid-career local government professionals!
