Dear Colleague:

This has been an exciting year, both for me, as I complete my initial year as executive director of ICMA, and for our organization, as we celebrate our many financial and programmatic successes. If you joined us at the San Antonio conference, you may have seen the Opening Session video highlighting our major accomplishments. If not, I encourage you to take a look.

In the meantime, I want to express my appreciation to all of you for your ongoing commitment to public service. The work that you do every day plays an important role in the quality of life in our communities. I thank each and every one of you for your continued belief in our cities, towns, and counties.             

As we close out the calendar year and prepare to face the challenges and opportunities of a new one, I hope you will join me in celebrating a great first 12 months! Together we’ll push past where we are and lead our local governments to an even brighter future.
