The International Hispanic Network announces a new program to recognize individuals and organizations that demonstrate insightful and sustained change in their communities through inclusive civic engagement practices. Any city, county, nonprofit, student organization, or private sector partner can apply for this recognition. Download the descriptive brochure and submission instructions.
- May 1: Deadline for submissions.
- June: Selection Committee reviews submittals and makes recommendations to the IHN Board.
- July: Notification to organizations selected for award(s).
- September through November: Recognition of organizations at the IHN dinner during the ICMA Annual Conference in Kansas City, Missouri, September 23, 2016, and at the IHN national conference in Austin, Texas, November 3-5, 2016.
