The City of Palm Coast has been awarded the Association of Public Treasurers of the United States & Canada's Investment Policy Certificate of Excellence Award.

The award recognizes success in developing a comprehensive written investment policy that meets the criteria set forth by the Association's Investment Policy Certificate Committee. A team of reviewers from the Investment Policy Certification Committee reviewed the City's recently upgraded investment policy and approved it for the award.

"This was the first time the City of Palm Coast has applied for the Investment Policy Certificate of Excellence Award. The Finance Department updated the City's existing investment policy late last year, and we submitted for the award based on the upgraded policy," said Palm Coast Finance Director Christopher Quinn.

"Palm Coast's upgraded investment policy is part of our commitment to sound financial policy per our Strategic Action Plan, and we're honored to have the policy recognized by the Association of Public Treasurers of the United States & Canada," Quinn said.
