With the expiration of authorized federal transportation funding fast approaching, leaders of the Big 7  organizations  representing state and local governments are hosting an event to address the nation’s infrastructure needs,  urging Congress to ensure continued solvency of the Highway Trust Fund and to pass a multi-year reauthorization of the Moving Ahead for Progress in the 21st Century Act, or MAP-21.

 The event, moderated by David Adkins, Executive Director, Council of State Governments, will take place on Tuesday, May 12 from 2:00 – 3:00 p.m. in Room 2253 of the Rayburn House Office Building.
