ICMA members and nonmembers can submit presentations for academic conference panels for ICMA's eighth Academic Symposium. Sessions should be no longer than 20 minutes in length with up to 10 minutes for questions. The faster pace and executive summary format are appreciated by the practitioners in the audience and allows for more sessions to fit into the time slots during the in-person event.

While your school can submit more than one session idea, the goal is to have a broad representation of schools. As the audience is a mix of practitioners and academics, include a portion of your presentation to address how your research or writing addresses the practice of management for managers.

Sessions will be selected by a subcommittee of ICMA's Graduate Education Committee.

Priority deadline is May 10, 2024.

Submit your presentation and enter copy as you would like it to appear in the program, including title, organization, and presenter name(s).
