The Senior Business & Proposal Developement Manager is primarily responsible for managing and contributing to general business development activities and the development of solicited and unsolicited proposals, expressions of interest, concept papers, etc. under the direction of the Director of New Initiatives and working closely with Regional Directors.  

 

Qualifications:

  •  Bachelor's Degree in International Affairs, Public Administration, International Business Administration, Economics, Urban Studies or related field and five years of related experience (Masters Degree may substitute for one year of experience)
  • Knowledge of and experience with USAID and other donor business and proposal processes (ie. solicitations, tracking business opportunities, understanding technical and financial      requirements)         
  • Outstanding writing and communications skills
  • Solid knowledge of proposal and program budgeting
  • Understanding of accounting principles and demonstrated financial management and analysis skills
  • Exceptional organizational, follow through, and time-management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
