LEAD A GROWING COMMUNITY: THE POSITION
Firestone is seeking an experienced, forward-thinking leader to serve as its next Town Manager and help shape the community’s next chapter.
Reporting directly to the Board of Trustees, the Town Manager serves as the Town’s chief executive and administrative officer, overseeing municipal operations and translating Board priorities into action. The Manager leads a talented organization dedicated to delivering responsive, high-quality services while fostering a culture of transparency, accountability, innovation, and operational excellence.
The Town Manager serves as a trusted advisor to the Board and a key connection among elected officials, employees, residents, businesses, regional partners, and community stakeholders. Success in this role will require thoughtful leadership, strong communication, sound judgment, and the ability to build relationships across the community and region.
Firestone operates under the council-manager form of government, with the elected Mayor and Board of Trustees establishing policy and strategic direction and the Town Manager leading implementation. Together, the Board and Manager will have an opportunity to position Firestone for sustainable growth and a vibrant future.

• Experienced Municipal Leader: A seasoned local government professional with a strong understanding of municipal operations and a proven ability to lead a growing organization and deliver high-quality public services.
• Water Resource Expertise: A strong working knowledge of Colorado water law, water rights, regulatory frameworks, and regional water challenges, with the ability to navigate complex issues and advance sustainable solutions.

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, or a related field, plus five years of progressively responsible executive-level local government experience. Equivalent experience in local government executive leadership may also qualify.
Preferred Qualifications: Master’s degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, or a related field.
POSITION BENEFITS: COMPETITIVE EXECUTIVE COMPENSATION
• Salary: $200,000–$297,000 annually, depending on qualifications.
