Finance Director

The Finance Director oversees all financial operations for the Village of Riverside, including accounting, budgeting, financial reporting, treasury management, payroll, utility billing, purchasing, investments, debt management, internal controls, ERP systems, risk management, and IT. Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local laws, maintaining accounting standards and best practices, and fostering a culture of responsiveness and exceptional customer service. The Finance Director leads Finance Department staff, develops financial policies and procedures, manages risk and insurance programs, supports technology initiatives, and promotes transparency and continuous improvement. Performance is evaluated based on organizational goals, financial reporting, project completion, audit results, customer service, and regular meetings with the Village Manager.
