Public Works Director

The Public Works Director reports directly to the City Administrator and directs the overall operations of the Public Works Department. Key functions include:
Planning, organizing, directing, and coordinating all departmental operations.
Developing annual budgets and overseeing expenditure of public funds.
Supervising personnel and establishing work priorities.
Serving as Engineer of Record on infrastructure projects.
Managing capital improvement projects, including engineering, right-of-way coordination, and construction oversight.
Preparing RFPs, selecting consultants, and administering contracts.
Participating in public meetings and communicating infrastructure plans.
Supporting long-range infrastructure and utility master planning efforts.
Successful performance directly impacts the reliability of essential municipal services and the quality of life for the community.
