Public Works Deputy Director - Municipal Enterprises

SUMMARY: Oversee and manage the City’s municipal enterprises accomplished through the development and implementation of standards for organizational structure, infrastructure planning and design, and departmental policies and procedures; preparation and administration of the associated Capital Improvement Program (CIP) and operating budgets; and management of the City’s utility operations, including storm water, solid waste, landfill, and sewer enterprises, and associated programs/legal requirements, as well as oversight of capital projects and assigned staff.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s or master’s degree-level of study or appropriate certification such as a Business Administration, Government, Utility Operations, Professional Engineer, Law Degree, or Certified Public Accountant. Any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience, which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the essential functions of the job will be considered. A valid State Driver’s license is required.
