The City of Austin is seeking a highly qualified individual to fill the Project Connect Mobility Officer position. This role reports to an Assistant City Manager.

The Project Connect Mobility Officer will have several exciting challenges to address and areas of opportunity to excel. Among these is the need to advance the implementation of Project Connect’s multimodal transit vision,
strengthen cross-departmental coordination, ensure transparent stakeholder engagement, and uphold commitments to equity, accessibility, and community-centered planning.

Education: Graduation with a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in a field of public or business administration, government management, architecture, engineering, or a related field.
Experience: Ten (10) years of experience in public administration and research, or construction management.
