The Residential Traffic Management Program (RTMP) of the city of Corpus Christi, Texas, aims at improving the safety and quality of the city’s residential neighborhoods. This report focuses primarily on the installation of the speed hump which helps reduce the traffic speed. Explains installation policy, the objective of the policy, eligibility requirements, speed hump, diverter, traffic circle location, design, construction, and maintenance. Introduces the procedures to be followed for speed hump or traffic diverter installation, such as project request, preliminary review of request, petition requirement/process, citizen cost responsibility, field study/project prioritization, funding for approved traffic calming projects, and calming device installation.
