ICMA conducted a workshop on Environmental Management Systems (EMS) in Austin, TX. Elizabeth Frisch, an experienced consultant with TCEQ (and formerly with TCEQ), led this session with an introduction to EMS. She provided the basic “what, why, how” of EMS, along with the basics elements and implementation steps of EMS.
