This is the 2010 nomination of the Village of Schaumburg, Illinois' Comprehensive Green Action Plan (C GAP) for the Community Sustainability Award. Village Manager Kenneth J. Fritz and Senior Assistant to the Village Manager Paula Hewson are credited with aiding in the development of this plan which focuses on creating and implementing programs and policies that strengthen the village's environmental values and provides clear directions and expectations for staff and community members.
