This is the 2010 nomination of Middlebury, Vermont's Cross Street Bridge Project for the Community Partnership Award. Town Manager William H. Finger and Assistant Town Manager Joseph Colangelo are credited with the development of this project to address the need for a new bridge based on the growing population and service efficiency issues. In order to make this project a success, the Town made a valuable partnership with Middlebury College.
