The city of Palmdale, California is nominated for the 2006 ICMA Program Excellence Award in Community Partnerships, for the City's collaborative efforts with NASA, and various institutions of higher education in developing the Aerospace, Education, Research and Operations (AERO) Institute. This document contains a description of the program, as well as a discussion of the program's results and lessons learned.
