We hope that your conference experience was productive – and fun! – and that you returned home to your community with some great insight from the sessions and workshops you attended.

Good news – you don’t have wait until ICMA’s next Annual Conference to stay connected!  Here are a few ways to keep in touch:

Follow up with your contacts. Use Who’s Who to keep connected to people you met.

Complete the post-conference survey.  Your feedback regarding the Annual Conference is important to ICMA staff, and the members of the Conference Planning and Host Committees.  Help us improve this annual event by taking a few minutes to respond and complete the conference survey, which you received via email on September 22.  You can also send any questions, comments, or suggestions to membership@icma.org anytime.

Stay involved. Don’t forget to utilize ICMA’s resources throughout the year, by keeping an eye out for professional development webinars, seeking personal ethics guidance, or using the Knowledge Network to research community projects and exchange information with other ICMA members. You can also stay connected with us on social media: Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn.

Share.  The Annual Conference blog was a great way to swap information in preparation for Charlotte, but now we can use the blog to share our experiences, so we want to hear from you!  If you’re interested, please send a short blog post about your experience at ICMA’s 100th Annual Conference to khobson@icma.org, and it’ll be uploaded.  Let others know about the ways you’re applying ideas from conference to your community!

Mark your calendar.  If you enjoyed this year’s conference, mark your calendar now for ICMA’s 101st Annual Conference in Seattle/King County, September 27-30, 2015.  Registration will open during the first week of June 2015.  And if you can’t wait until then, be sure to join us for one of our Regional Summits this spring.

We look forward to seeing you next year!
