This month City Administrator, Kay Love, hosted the city’s department heads for an engaging morning of looking into the future. I facilitated the workshop in one of the Park and Rec’s buildings on the scenic Chattahoochee River. It was a beautiful setting to reflect back and look ahead. For the last 10 months, Alliance staff have been presenting this workshop, and as many times as I’ve seen it and participated in it, it’s never the same. Why? Because each organization may have unique trends that will shape their community and organization. While there is commonality among organizations, there are plenty of trends that are distinctive to a city, county or region.
