Night at the Tower  
Join us for the second annual Night at the Tower on Saturday, Sept. 17. A progressive event like no other where guests experience different cultures and countries through music, live performances, and still art, Night at the Tower takes guests away from the traditional seated dinner event to a true experience with unprecedented performances and entertainment brought in part by Quixotic. A limited number of tickets are available, so purchase yours soon! 
The Great Humanitarian 
Join us for an evening of spirited conversation as we welcome leading Herbert Hoover authority and historian George H. Nash for a free program at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 20. Nash discusses how Hoover, eventually the 31st president of the United States, founded and ran an international organization that fed millions of French and Belgian civilians during World War I. The program is presented in partnership with the National Archives at Kansas City. 
Teacher Appreciation  
Kick off the new school year in style at Teacher Appreciation Night on Thursday, Sept. 15! Not just for history teachers, enjoy a light reception, workshops, a self-guided tour of the Museum's main galleries and resources from more than 15 regional museums and cultural institutions from around the greater Kansas City area. Registration is $5 and is required by Sept. 9.
The World Remembers  
More than 9 million combatants from the belligerent nations died in WWI. Returning for the second-straight year and debuting Thursday, Sept. 29, The World Remembers is an international education project whose purpose is to remember and honor these combatants during each year of the war by displaying their names in more than 60 locations across the world.
