Given that today is Valentine’s Day, and further that the ICMA Government Affairs and Policy Committee traditionally delves into some rather significant policy questions of important to local governments and the citizens they serve, I’d like to diverge from that honorable tradition just a bit by focusing on a lighter topic, though one of critical import to local government administration.
