The City of Rancho Cordova is now offering electronic plan review to its customers. The City is utilizing a program called Active Review by SIRE Technologies to streamline the electronic plan review process. 

“The new service increases efficiency and reduces paper, printing, and delivery costs when compared to submitting hard copies of plans,” said Steve Twist, Commercial Plan Reviewer for the City of Rancho Cordova.

Builders, contractors, and home remodelers canhave their building plans reviewed online. What can be submitted online includes plans for residential additions, residential alterations and remodels, commercial alterations and tenant improvements, final map review, and encroachment permits. Other acceptable plans include those for new buildings, transportation improvements, and discretionary entitlement projects.
