The ICMA Executive Board has set the following agenda for its February 18-21, 2016, meeting in Austin, Texas:

 

  • Adopt registration fees and budget for 2016 ICMA Annual Conference.
  • Select cities for 2024 conference site visits in the Northeast.
  • Conduct annual review of ICMA’s financial management policies and second quarter review of financials.
  • Discuss priorities to guide staff in the development of the FY2017 budget.
  • Review proposals for updates to the ICMA Practices for Effective Local Government Management.
  • Confirm final process for interviewing candidates for president-elect at the June 2016 board meeting.
  • Review progress on membership recruitment and retention.
  • Conduct annual review of member committees and task forces.
  • Discuss plans for engaging members in a review of Tenet 3 of the ICMA Code of Ethics.
  • Review the status of preparations for regional nominating committee interviews at the 2016 Regional Summits. These committees will select a nominee for ICMA Vice President in each region for the 2016 election ballot.
