Solace and ICMA have been working together to promote global good governance since the first affiliate agreement was signed in 1987, marking ICMA's longest-lasting strategic alliance. As the United Kingdom’s leading membership network for public sector and local government professionals, Solace represents more than 1,800 members across the United Kingdom, and has regional branches across the country that play host to a number of events, such as regional development days, skills days, and networking opportunities.
This year marks not only ICMA’s 100th anniversary of adding the “I” to its name and establishing its commitment to making ICMA a more international organization; but also the 50th anniversary of Solace, ICMA's counterpart organization in the United Kingdom.
To commemorate this special anniversary year, Solace has produced three exclusive and collectable reports.
