ICMA is a partner on a research project that includes a survey to gain insights into how chief administrative officers and city and county managers communicate with their governing body about water utility rate increases. The survey responses will help identify common obstacles in rate communication, as well as effective practices and strategies.

We are seeking chief administrative officers and managers to review the survey instrument. If your local government manages a water utility and the governing body has the power to approve/deny requested rate adjustments charged to citizens, please consider participating in the survey review process, which will take place from the end of February to early March. If you are willing to be a reviewer, contact Evelina Moulder, ICMA director of survey research, at emoulder@icma.org
