As we celebrate 40 milestone years of the Future of Professional Management Fund, our state associations are stepping up in a big way—and the race for the top spot is officially on. Texas is currently setting the pace in first place, but the leaderboard is still wide open for anyone ready to challenge the leaders.  

We are officially nearly halfway to our $151,000 goal, fueled by both our generous individual members and our state associations. As we celebrate 40 milestone years, here is how you and your state can help close the gap:

1. State Associations: Battle for the Leaderboard 

Which state association will take the top spot? Texas currently leads the pack, but the leaderboard is wide open for challenger states to move up the ranks!

• 1st: Texas City Management Association: $15,000 
• 2nd: Georgia City/County Management Association: $7,500 
• 3rd: Illinois City/County Management Association: $4,400 
• 4th: Wisconsin City/County Management Association: $1,100 
• 5th: Virginia Local Government Management Association: $1,000
