The Keep America Beautiful 2013 Cigarette Litter Prevention Program (CLPP) grant application is open!
Mark your calendars:
Grant application opens: February 11
Grant application closes: March 4
Grant recipients announced: April 5
Webinar training: April 10
Grants of $1,000 and $2,000 will be available, and will include quantities of Pocket and/or Portable Auto (cup holder style) Ashtrays. Grant funding is to be used primarily for Ash Receptacle purchase (a minimum of 50% of the grant should be spent on the purchase of ash receptacles). Ash receptacles are shown to be the most critical strategy for program sustainability. Up to 20% of the CLPP grant may be used for administration costs. The Cigarette Litter Prevention Program is made possible by a grant from Philip Morris USA, an Altria company, with additional support from RAI Services Company and Santa Fe Natural Tobacco Company.
The grant application can be found online in the Re-TRAC Connect system: http://connect.re-trac.com. Detailed instructions on applying through Re-TRAC are attached. Feel free to call or email Shannon O’Donnell, Manager, Litter Programs (203-659-3074 or sodonnell@kab.org) with specific Re-TRAC questions or concerns.
