Leadership Matters (formerly The ICMA Newsletter*) is a member benefit that is published weekly delivering the latest news, strategies, and best practices in local government.

This ICMA program avails members the experience, advice, and support of respected, retired managers.

These guidelines review the purpose of the Senior Advisor program and provide guidelines for each of the key program participants: Senior Advisors, state sponsors, and ICMA.

ICMA recognizes the many achievements of its members with award programs that highlight extraordinary accomplishments as well as dedicated service to the profession.
