ICMA and the Cadmus Group present resources from the EPA's ENERGY STAR Program to help local governments, businesses, and residents achieve superior energy efficiency.

Through projects with the National Association of Development Organizations (NADO), the U.S. EPA, and others, ICMA provides technical assistance and knowledge resources to the small towns and rural communities that are engaged in regional sustainability planning.

Now in its tenth year, the Voluntary Credentialing Program recognizes over 1,200 ICMA Credentialed Managers and Candidates, 172 of whom have been credentialed since 2002.
