The ICMA Partners Program scholarships provide monetary stipends and complimentary conference registrations for partners attending their first conference.

At the 2013 Annual Conference in Boston, ICMA, together with its long-term strategic partner, Esri, will co-sponsor the first joint Esri-ICMA hackathon, "Hackstock for #LocalGov”.

In July 2013, five of the six vice presidents-elect, incoming president Simon Farbrother, and incoming president-elect Jim Bennett came to the ICMA offices for an orientation.
