Join the City of South Pasadena as a key member of the City’s leadership team as its next Community Development Director. The Community Development Director is a key member of the City's leadership team responsible for overseeing the Planning and Community Development Department, which includes planning, building, arts and economic development, and code enforcement. Ideal candidates will bring experience in housing administration, urban planning, and grants management while showcasing exceptional communication skills to simplify complex regulations for diverse audiences. Embracing citizen engagement, the Director will actively incorporate community feedback into presentations for the City Council and Planning Commission. The hiring range for this position will be mid-top of the salary range, $163,536 - $187,308 Annually, with a 2% increase anticipated for 07/01/2025.
