DeKalb County, Georgia, has a problem and it is illegal temporary signage affecting the county appearance. Through problem solving and collaboration the county created the ‘Sick of Signs’ campaign to involve citizens in the countywide cleanup. The program has been nominated for the 2016 Local Government Excellence Awards in the category of Community Partnership (populations of 50,000 and greater).
