Using both traditional and non-traditional police methods, White Plans police department reduced violent crimes, strengthened police community relations, and helped prisoners successfully return to the community. Also shares the success stories of two young men as they transitioned from crime and prison to enrolling in college with the help of the White Plans’s Youth Police Initiative and Step Up programs.
