In an effort to make their community more environmentally friendly while also saving money, Camden County, GA has implemented a series of program changes. They made smaller modifications like creating an electronic agenda system and a quarterly digital newsletter. In addition they instituted larger scale environmental conversions such as purchasing environmentally friendly mosquito sprayers, installing new lighting, heating, cooling systems, and refurbishing capital equipment. Their adjustments have helped saved the county $1,700,000.
