The intent of the Arrive Alive Central Texas campaign is to comprehensively address unsafe driving behaviors throughout the region during peak holiday and festival travel periods.  The initiative is a multi-agency partnership consisting of 15 law enforcement organizations working cohesively to increase awareness about the absolute need to drive, bicycle and walk safely.  The operation, which was implemented in February 2013, uses enforcement to educate and correct dangerous practices on Central Texas roads with a final goal of making the area a safer place for residents and visitors to live, work and play.
