In 2012 the American Bar Association's House of Delegates passed a resolution calling for the enactment of comprehensive breed neutral laws and ordinances with due process protections for pet owners and the repeal of all breed discriminatory /breed specific ordinances and for the adoption of reckless pet owner laws.
