This is the 2010 nomination of Leesburg, Virginia's Land Development Process Improvements program for the Strategic Leadership and Governance Award. Town Manager John Wells and Assistant Town Manager Kaj Dentler have created a program that has been able to identify the weaknesses in the land development process and subsequently streamline the process, with an emphasis on communication.
