This is the 2010 nomination of Central City, Nebraska's South Recreation Project for the Community Partnership Award. City Administrator Chris Anderson is credited with aiding in the development of this project in response to five previously established problem areas.  In order to develop this recreation project, city officials heavily consulted with community members. This large recreation center includes a trailer park, new lake, aquatic center, soccer facilities, residential subdivision, and hiking/biking trail.
