This is the 2010 nomination of Eau Claire, Wisconsin's Regional Emergency Medical Services Program for the Community Partnership Award. City Manager Mike Huggins is credited with the development of this program which coordinated a full integration of various partners working together to support a high level of medical care for the residents in the community. The result of this partnership has been a higher level of patient care, while providing an efficient delivery model. A specific measurable outcome has been the reduction of response times from 20 to 60 percent.
