The Knowledge Network has consolidated its topics!   

The Knowledge Network Team is constantly working on providing the best information to local government professionals like you. To respond to user suggestions for improving the user experience, and to more efficiently provide the information you need, we have consolidated the Topics section of the Knowledge Network.

As you know, all of the content on the Knowledge Network is organized by topic. Each piece of content can be tagged with one or more topics, and every topic has its own topic page which aggregates all content tagged with that topic. In the recent past there have been more than 200 topics covering areas of interest to local governments from accountability to zoning. The Knowledge Network team has consolidated these topic fields to only 87 topic pages. All of the information will still be available, just reorganized. We believe that this will streamline the user experience and be beneficial to you when searching for the information you need.
