  • City Manager, Jon Ruiz of Eugene, Ore. refused to accept a pay raise from the City Council, citing budget concerns (AP).
  • Nassau County, Fla. Manager Ted Selby’s budget with no increase in property taxes was passed by the Commissioners (Fernandina Beach (FL) News- Leader).
  • Thomas Christie, City Manager of Salem, Ill. expressed concern over the enforcement of an ordinance banning bath salts which contain chemicals that are also used as recreational drugs (WJBD-AM).
