Hello from Laos all fellows! (actually from Paris hehe, waiting to transfer. Anyway still on time right since this first blog should be posed before our arrival to DC haha). I am Manithaythip Thephavanh, or Jeab in short. I am one of the legislative process and governance fellows for this Fall. Thanks US governemt and/or ICMA for giving me the great opportunity ever! I am sure I will learn a lot from participating this programme (See, even in the first day today I have gained 3 new awesome and cool things in my life already: meeting&sharing this long trip journey with incredible buddy from Laos (Mademoiselle Soytavanh, an environmental sustainable from Laos), experiencing Paris airport (just inside the airport is cool enough for me as I've never been to France), and of course, blog writing ting ting (though it's not informative and attractive, but it's a good start right, lol)
